I have gone on record before as saying that if I had the money, I would probably be an apple guy. My friend topher put this pic up on a post today.

Wow. Now I don’t want to be associated with the apple folks.
That is just too fanatical for me…
Working on a site today for the government of Ontario (well part of a part of the government of Ontario…)
Kinda neat to think that I am able to do this kind of work though. It would be very nice if it was able to develop some other business for us. The site will be rolled out on Tuesday so I will make the BIG announcement then.
Not sure I really LIKE the design, but the client does so that would be what really counts right?
Right!
It is finally here (almost). Nan and Lindsay have been planning a retreat for the youth of our church for a while now and this is the weekend for it. It should be lots of fun. We are going to Rocky Ridge Ranch. Nan worked there for most of her highschool years as a counsellor and barn worker. The youth will get to ride at least a couple of times probably.
We are dealing with dating, relationships, marriage and all that stuff this weekend. Should make for some interesting discussion I am sure.
I will keep you updated.
The last couple of weeks we have had some really good studies with the youth group. Last week, Heather our sister-in-law came and spoke to the group about depression. It was really cool. We have some really strong interest in our group about it, and the youth were incredibly attentive.
Last night we had Brian Robinson from our church come and take questions about Creation vs. Evolution. Awesome! The man is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Mr. Robinson, I am not sure if you read blogs, but if you do… Thanks again. We all really were provoked in our thinking..
Well, I figured out why the silly thing was resetting itself so much… Silly me. I had installed a 3rd party email software that emulates push technology. It is great. Snappermail. The only problem is that it does not set the default app of the treo to itself. So, I was merrily working away in Snappermail while the Treo was also picking up mail and putting it in Versamail. Once I caught on, there was something like 350 emails in the inbox. It was jammed up solid so I had to do a hard reset. Everything seems good now.
I have one little issue though. Periodically, the sd card is not recognized. It seems to just disappear. Unseating and reseating seems to have no apparent effect. But after fiddling with it for 30 minutes or so, bam! There it is. Strange. If anyone out there reads this and can comment, I would be glad of your suggestions.
So, I am VERY happy with my TREO. The other day I told Nan I had the itch to buy something. She said “yeah, a phone right”. Nope, honey, I like my phone.
