I was told recently that I should drink GREEN TEA. It is supposed to have lots of good benefits.
I was even told that it would help me lose weight!
Man, I even heard if I drink 400 cups a day for 400 years, I can look like this

How about that! Only 145,998 days to go!

This is Jackson and Rhys.
They have been friends since JK. Rhys does not attend Emily Carr. He is attending the French Immersion School.
Jackson missed having his buddy to play with.
So, they are having a playdate this morning. Good kids.

I have a blog tracker on my blog.
Ooh.. pretty scary huh? It tells me where the people should be that have viewed my blog.
Here is an excerpt;
1) Minneapolis, Minnesota
2) St. Catharines, Ontario
3) Tucson, Arizona
4) Sarasota, Florida
5) Jefferson, Maryland
6) Peterborough, Ontario
7) Peterborough, Ontario
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
9) Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
10) Hamilton, Ontario
Peterborough, Ontario and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan I can understand. I think it is Paul and Rose and Abbey. The others?? I have no clue.
So, if you read this and you are from one of these lovely places that I have never been to, like Minnesota, Missouri, Arizona or Maryland. Leave me a note. I would love to hear from you.

It’s that most wonderful time of the year!
Nah, not really. We have been noticing that the furnace has been coming on a lot in the last week. Even though they don’t look the nicest, we generally install window sealing kits over the winter up in the bedrooms, in the family room and office.
They do not look the prettiest in the world but boy they sure cut down on the drafts around the house. Every year I say to myself, I need to insulate more in the attic….
yup, every year.
Maybe next year.
I have to put the window kits in today. It was freezing last night in the family room. (Side-split homes are notorious for this…)
But of course, like every kid who grows up thinking that money grows on trees, I grew up. Now I now where it grows! On the ‘get yer butt outa bed and get t’ work’ tree….
Jackson came into the bedroom and jumps into the bed with me this morning. I mumbled to him that I was going to stay in bed all day and have a sleep day.
Dad, you can’t do that you know… We will run short of money and not be able to pay for things….(insert concerned face here)
You are absolutely right pal..
Somedays that boy amazes me. For about 3 months now I have had the feeling that he is not listening to much of what goes on around him.
I was so wrong. He is all over it….

William and I recently finished reading the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. It is a great novel. It is a fantasy novel about a young boy who inherits a dragon’s egg that hatches and he becomes a dragon rider who has great powers.
Fantastic book. Will was completely into it. I really enjoyed reading both of the books myself. I talked it over with Nan and we decided that it would be okay for the boys to read these books with me. They have some magical fiction in them and we have had the discusssion about reality and fantasy already.
When we were through reading the book, I told Will that I would take him to the theatre in December to see the movie Eragon that is coming out. He is so pumped!
A couple of weeks ago, Will and I found the site for movie that is being released. We watched the trailer and then I realized that they are incorporating some of the second book into the movie I think.
Oops, I thought, we had better get reading the second book in the series.
The second book in the series is called Eldest.
We started a couple of nights ago. It is a great joy to have my 9 year old say to me practically everyday…
Hey dad, do you think we will have some time to read tonight?
Awesome days with my boys.
