Wedding weekend!
Nan’s cousin Lindsay is getting married this weekend.
We have really enjoyed getting to know Lindsay and Eric even more in the last few months.
The house is a blur of activity as is the Thompson household down the street.
Decorating the hall this morning, the church this afternoon, rehearsal and party tonight, golf tomorrow morning for the guys, hair and makeup for the ladies, ceremony at 2:00 p.m. and reception at 5:30. Phew!
We are so looking forward to being involved in this. It is gonna be fun.

A while back I purchased a small little Canon point and shoot camera.
I really grew to love having easily accessible. Point and shoot is nice for the quick moments.
Well, it had an unfortunate accident this last week. It got dropped and died…
So, we replaced it.
After much humming and hawing, I chose the Panasonic DMC-FX10.
I went to Henry’s Camera and Carmen Camera and they both enthusiastically endorsed it.
So far I really like it. It has some of the best features on the market going right now.
Optical Image Stabilization
Leica Lens
Here it is.

That’s what mom used to say….
Well, yesterday was Jackson’s birthday. Great day. We were going to have a fire in the fireplace out in the backyard last night but it was way too hot.
So, we went for icecream instead. As we were in the car, I saw that Jackson looked very warm and said …
“hey, you long haired freak, why don’t you get a haircut????”
His response:
Okay, let’s take it down to the brick.
Well, normally I tell him I shave my head down to the wood, but close enough.
Mommy came out to the car and Jackson informed her what he wanted. Mom thought that a completely bald job might be a bit much of a jump. After all, the kid has been growing a mullett as of late.
How about a mohawk??
the ever funny dad said…
Okay! Sweet!
said Jackson.
Sweet huh??
