Nan and I were at the mall today and decided to get a coffee. As we were standing there, we noticed that they used the same type of coffee syrups that we use at home. Nan commented to me that we should ask if they sold them and how much would they be if they did indeed sell them. I asked and the reply was
Oh yes, we sell them. They retail for $10.25 each.
$10.25! Are you serious?! When we went to Toronto and bought a case from the supplier, I think we ended up paying $10.50!!!!
So, we bought 3. I cannot see myself going to Toronto for them anymore if I can just go to the local mall.
Go figure….

I did my motorcycle safety course this weekend.
It was a lot of fun. The instructors for my group were in a word, incredible. They were fun, informative, firm and downright encouraging.
I was the first person to test this afternoon out of everyone for the weekend. I am happy to say that I did well and passed with flying colours! Now I need to get my bike out lots!
I cannot believe how much I learned this weekend about riding motorcyles… simply incredible.

Will went to the doctor the other day to see about what is going on with his heel.
The doctor was not really pleased with the progress that has been made and is referring Will to a Pediatric Orthopedist? I think that’s who it is. We are also going to look into having Will see a chiropractor.
I will post more as we hear.

Nope, not me..
I had to change the battery in the motorbike today. Took me flippin’ long enough…
man, I hope that this is not an omen of things to come.
On a better note, I start my motorcycle safety course tomorrow night. Thursday night is 3 hours of in-class time and then Saturday and Sunday are 10 hours each of class and riding. So far, the weather forecast is looking good. Sunny and a high of 13 on Saturday and sunny and a high of 15 for Sunday. That would be really nice if it came to pass.
Hopefully, if all goes well, I will pass the course on Sunday and be eligible next Wednesday to get my M2 license, which would give me basically no restrictions that would matter to me anyways.
I sometimes wish that I had gotten my bike license when I was a teen. It would have been easy enough to do and I would not have to go through the whole graduated licensing process that I do now. Oh well, I suppose it is a good thing.
I was able to get out for a quick ride on the bike today as well. This is only my second spin on it, but I am beginning to get the feel of it I think. It is going to take a bit of time but I look forward to spending a good amount of time on it this season hopefully.
My buddy Bruce bought a bike last year and hopefully we will be able to get out a bit.
